The Department of Nursing at 国产探花 invites applications for the full-time Assistant Director of Nursing for our new Dallas area online programs. This 12-month position provides leadership and support in the administration of the pre-licensure online Accelerated BSN (ABSN) and Direct-Entry MSN (DEMSN) programs. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing will provide leadership to foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment and contribute to the mission and strategic goals of the institution. 

This role requires strong planning, execution, and collaborative skills as well as experience in nursing education and online curriculum development. Required qualifications

  • Evidence of at least five years of experience in nursing, with at least two years of nursing education and administrative experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the campus faculty, Director of Nursing, and university leaders to build an environment that is focused on advancing student learning, promoting engagement, and enhancing positive community and climate.
  • Oversee student admissions, retention, and progression on the campus, working with internal and external partners for recruitment and enrollment.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing curriculum.
  • Provide leadership in collaboration with the Director of Nursing in meeting accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise faculty and staff at the campus, providing oversight for daily work and completing annual evaluations.
  • Work with the VPASA and Director of Nursing to support faculty development and meet the needs of online students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with a broad range of students, including students from disadvantaged backgrounds and underrepresented populations in nursing.
  • Experience in curriculum design and development, evaluation and assessment, and compliance with state board of nursing regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Evidence of successful experience in obtaining/maintaining nursing program accreditation. 
  • Successful experience teaching using a range of formats, including instructional technology, concept-based curriculum, competency-based education, flipped classroom, interprofessional, and team teaching.

Department Overview

国产探花 (国产探花) offers dynamic and comprehensive Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and direct-entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) pre-licensure nursing programs designed to prepare students for a successful career in nursing through flexible campus-based, hybrid, and online formats. With multiple pathways tailored to students鈥 education and experience, 国产探花 offers the BSN as a traditional program on the residential campus. For students who have a non-nursing bachelor鈥檚 or associate degree, the Accelerated BSN program is available in hybrid or online formats that can be completed in 16 months. Additionally, students with a non-nursing bachelor鈥檚 degree may enter the direct-entry MSN and complete in as few as 20 months. Both the BSN and MSN include 900 or more hours of hands-on experience offered through labs, simulations, and real-world clinical placements to ensure graduates are confident, competent, and career ready.

Reporting to the Director for Undergraduate Admissions, the Assistant Director will lead 国产探花鈥檚 transfer recruitment and enrollment efforts for both fall and spring semesters. The Assistant Vice President of Finance & Accounting will report to the Vice President for Financial Strategies and Advancement. The Assistant Vice President of Finance & Accounting assists on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to management of finance, strategic planning activities, investment analysis and implementation, accounting, and tax. The Assistant Vice President of Finance & Accounting provides organizational support and ensures necessary and effective controls and procedures remain in place to safeguard all institution assets and resources

The Assistant Vice President of Finance & Accounting will lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounting, Finance, and Student Accounts Teams, while supporting the Vice President for Financial Strategies and Advancement on strategic financial initiatives, and ensuring financial operations are efficient, accurate, and aligned with institutional priorities. They will have direct communication and support responsibilities on matters such as tax planning, compliance, debt structure, banking and cash management, audit and other financial matters. This position will have three direct reports, the Executive Director of Financial Accounting and Budgeting, Director of Accounting, and Director of Student Accounts.

  1. Key Accountabilities

The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Vice President of Finance & Accounting include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Effectively collaborate with the Vice President for Financial Strategies and Advancement and support institution-wide financial initiatives including bond refinancing, capital planning, major financial analyses, and other strategic projects. Provide operational leadership to ensure successful execution while maintaining continuity of daily financial operations.
  • Financial Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive Director of Financial Accounting and Budgeting and engage with admissions, financial aid and other departments to provide financial analysis supporting tuition and fee pricing, enrollment strategies, financial aid optimization, and institutional planning. Develop meaningful financial insights and recommendations that improve student retention, operating performance, and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Accounting Leadership: Provide leadership for all accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with accounting principles and institutional policies, and successful completion of audits. 国产探花 seeks a Clinical Coordinator for Nursing to lead the establishment and support of clinical nursing sites for our Nursing students in Houston in collaboration with campus leadership. Reporting to the Campus Executive/Assistant Director of Nursing under the leadership of the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Coordinator is a critical member of the Nursing Department and contributor to the success of students鈥 clinical learning. They are responsible for planning and organizing nursing clinical placements, including networking to identify potential clinical sites. This is a full-time, 12-month exempt administrative position.

This role requires strong planning, execution, and collaborative skills as well as demonstrated experience in seeking and establishing clinical sites. A strong candidate will have the ability to connect and build relationships with many different constituencies to support student learning. While not an academic position, they must have a strong understanding of the nursing curriculum and the vision and mission of the nursing program and 国产探花.

Key Responsibilities:  

The Clinical Coordinator responsibilities will include the following priorities:

  • Identify and operationalize student clinical site opportunities and work with faculty to identify sites and complete onboarding for all clinical rotations.

The Director of Development works in consultation and in close coordination with the Assistant Vice President of Development to design and implement a comprehensive development program to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors for gifts in support of 国产探花 priorities. The specific objectives are to raise annual and major gift dollars to support 国产探花 initiatives, to acquire gifts to support 国产探花鈥檚 endowment, and to enhance educational opportunities for students through academic initiatives and improved facilities.  Funding for this position is available through December 2028.

This position is responsible for creating, implementing, and leading a comprehensive donor stewardship program while providing strategic support for Advancement Services operations. Responsibilities

Administrative

  • Design, launch, and manage comprehensive stewardship and recognition programs for donors and volunteers at all giving levels.
  • Establish and maintain policies, quality standards, and best practices for volunteer and donor recognition and stewardship.
  • Collaborate with the President, senior leadership, faculty, staff, volunteers, and donors to achieve strategic objectives and deliver appropriate messages for all stewardship efforts.
  • Revise and manage a stewardship communications program, including donor- and volunteer-focused publications that communicate the university’s stewardship programs.
  • Manage the production and distribution of annual stewardship reports to individual donors for ongoing donations, endowed funds such as scholarships and professorships, and major capital gifts to ensure consistency and quality, including the production of an annual honor roll of donors.
  • Oversee the stewardship budget.
  • Research, benchmark, and adopt industry best practices to strengthen 国产探花鈥檚 donor relations programs.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive system for tracking donor relations activities involving development officers, administrators, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintain a prospect identification and research system that feeds new prospects into major gift and annual giving prospect portfolios.
  • Identify pools of prospects through constituent list segmentation and analysis, electronic database screening, and peer/constituency screening and rating.
  • Maintain a comprehensive prospect rating strategy.
  • Maintain a reporting system for gift officers to reflect pipeline development and metric tracking.
  • Work closely with the Development Services Coordinator on gift acknowledgments and correspondence.
  • Participate actively in the Advancement Team, assisting in creating and carrying out the overall operational and strategic plans for the university.
  • Serve as backup administrator for the Advancement database, providing technical support and ensuring operational continuity.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students for Retention, this position provides strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and assessment of comprehensive first-year and transition initiatives that promote student success, engagement, and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of strategic goals for the division that support 国产探花’s institutional strategic plan.
  • Administer and supervise the First Year Experience & Student Transitions department and staff.

  • Manage departmental budgets, assessment plans, vendor partnerships, and staffing.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of orientation, transition, and first-year success initiatives.
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership on student success, engagement, assessment, and outcomes.
  • Utilize data, assessment, and evidence-based practices to guide continuous improvement and strategic planning.

  • Serve on divisional and university committees, task forces, and collaborative initiatives that advance student success and institutional priorities.

Qualifications/Requirements for Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Adult Education, Student Personnel, or a related field preferred.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years or more of progressively responsible experience in First Year Experience, Student Transitions, Orientation, Student Success, Retention, or related areas within higher education.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive first-year experience, orientation, transition, and student success programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and campus partners to advance student success and retention initiatives.
  • Ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and effectively support a diverse student population.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using assessment data and evaluation methods to inform program development, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and other higher education technology platforms.
  • Ability to supervise, develop, and evaluate professional and student staff.

The Director will provide vision, leadership, and operational oversight for all aspects of graduate and degree completion enrollment, from prospect generation through enrollment. This individual will play a critical role in expanding 国产探花’s presence in the marketplace, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the development of new academic programs that meet the needs of today’s learners and workforce.

Key Responsibilities

The Director for Graduate Admission & Degree Completion Programs will:

  • Develop and implement a multi-year strategic enrollment plan for graduate and degree completion programs that support institutional growth and enrollment objectives.
  • Lead and oversee all recruitment activities for graduate and adult undergraduate students, including virtual, on-campus, and off-campus engagement opportunities.
