Over 40% of university students participate in 19 varsity sports. Since 2000, ¹ú²ú̽»¨ has produced the most Academic All-Americans of any Texas university in the NCAA Division III.

¹ú²ú̽»¨’s intercollegiate athletics program exists for the growth and development of the students. The university brings 19 intercollegiate sports to the playing fields, courts, and stadiums of  and the .

The program operates under the principles of fair play and amateurism and provides equal opportunity for talented individuals. ¹ú²ú̽»¨ student-athletes participate in a nationally competitive collegiate program that is values-based and educationally sound.

Our coaches look for three key attributes when recruiting student-athletes:

  • Character – Be leaders on the field and in the classroom.
  • Academics – Demonstrate the ability to complete college-level work in addition to self-discipline, time management skills, and a commitment to succeed in the classroom.
  • Athletics – Possess the athletic ability and talent to win in a game, match, or meet. Prove to be leaders and understand the value of being part of a team.

Men’s teams include baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor/outdoor track & field, and cross country. Women’s teams include acrobatics & tumbling, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, indoor/outdoor track & field, and volleyball.
