When Joshua Stanton took an internship at CMC in Seguin last summer, he didn鈥檛 realize it would lead to a full-time job after graduation. 鈥淚 was a finance intern, and I did not know I wanted to continue working there,鈥 Stanton admits. But toward the end of that summer, he was feeling comfortable, both in his surroundings and in his job working with cost management.
The December 鈥24 grad, a Houston native who came to 国产探花 to play football and because he was drawn to the small class sizes, concurrently earned both his undergrad business degree and his Master of Science in Business Analytics鈥攁 five-year program at 国产探花. 鈥淚 needed an edge in the real world and pursuing my master鈥檚 would separate me from my competitors,鈥 Stanton says.
He was proved right about that edge. CMC hired him straight out of college, and he now works as a financial analyst for the company. 鈥淚 feel that the MSBA did just that. I have no regrets and am thankful I chose this route.鈥
For others considering the MSBA path, he has a few words of advice: 鈥淪tay persistent. It鈥檚 worth the extra effort.鈥
