Zachary Cole Herman was an athlete, a scholar, and a friend. A ¹ú²ú̽»¨ alum, Herman was a regular on the Dean’s List and a record-breaker in the hammer throw. In 2022, his life was forever changed when he was diagnosed with A.L.L Leukemia, a rapid developing blood cancer. After a valiant battle, he passed away at the age of 24.
Since then, Zachary’s family founded the Zachary Cole Foundation, whose mission it is to be of support to young patients battling leukemia and their families. On Monday, April 28, the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Zachary Cole Foundation will be held in Austin at River Place Country Club.
